EO Q-Switch Driver Q-Drive

Compact, yet the Q-Drive offers many features found in larger, more expensive packages.

The front panel provides a full range of controls including an HV on-off switch, local high voltage adjustment, and indicators with status LEDs displaying Power on, Triggered, and HV on. A remote control connector for convenient single-point connection to all driver functions allows remote HV adjustment by external potentiometer or voltage input, HV on/off control, and HV signal monitoring. In addition to the 24VDC barrel jack used with the included power supply, there is another 24VDC power input, a 50 ohm trigger input with 1,500 volts isolation, and connections to monitor the voltage at 1V/kV. The differential output eliminates the high DC voltage between the output terminals producing a maximum 2.25kV to ground potential, adding safety and reducing stress on the insulation. Using long life components, including hybrid polymer capacitors, and designed to US Navy derating specifications, ensuring low component stress, our short circuit proof driver is constructed for reliability and tested from -40°C to +70°C. All in a compact 4" x 5" x 2" case (10 x 12.5 x 5 cm)
